Lamb Front Chops

Lamb Chops or Cutlets are undoubtedly the “main event” when it comes to cuts of Lamb! It’s impossible not to feel elegant and special when eating them, particularly when you consider that they are described as being cut from the “best end of neck”, the first 8 ribs closest to the neck. It’s this 8 rib section that makes up what’s popularly known as the “Rack of Lamb”, and become cutlets when separated. The meat itself is tender and juicy, with just a hint of that distinctive earthy taste that tells you that you’re eating good quality lamb! The texture is very similar to the loin, with a smooth and fine grain.

You’ll be pleased to know that all of our grass fed lamb is sourced from just down the road in Shropshire, so it’s as local as can be!
