Beef Marrow Bones

When done correctly, homemade stocks burst at the seams with deep, bold, complex umami flavours, that bring a dish together. You’ll never go anywhere near a stock cube again!

Beef marrow bones are also incredibly nutritious and have become a bit of a TikTok sensation in the last few years. Once roasted, the marrow becomes gelatinous, silky, comforting and smooth and has the most sensational, full-bodied flavour imaginable. After roasting, try the marrow, simply spread onto sourdough toast, and topped with a light Salsa Verde. Alternatively, roast some root vegetables with the bones, and then boil them up slowly, over several hours, to make a delicious, nourishing and restorative bone broth, that will put a bounce in your step!
